The terms and conditions below refer to browsing or registrations made on the site  www.ws.ro  and participation in Walk & Shoot workshops. To have all the information related to the conditions of registration and participation in the Walk & Shoot workshops, please read carefully below. WORKSHOP REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the Walk & Shoot workshops is done online by purchasing a ticket. You can view all future workshops on the WORKSHOPS page. In the description of each workshop, at the bottom of the page there is the tickets section where you can buy one or more tickets. Before buying, please read the workshop details carefully (date, schedule, etc.).

The price of each workshop is displayed in the workshop description. Prices are always in lei. Workshop places are limited, depending on the specifics of the workshop, the groups varying between 10 and 15 people maximum. Payment is made with the card, in full, upon payment online of the ticket for the workshop concerned.

The process of buying a ticket includes the following steps:

1. Select the number of tickets you want at the targeted workshop and press the "complete order" button.

2. Fill in the billing details and fill in the details for the ticket (you can check that they are the same as the billing details, if applicable). In order to issue the invoice, the participant will also have to fill in the address section.

3. Acceptance of the conditions and policies of Walk & Shoot for the respective workshop. We recommend that you read them in full.

4. Secure online payment with the card.

You will receive an email about payment confirmation and attached ticket. No need to print the ticket; it is enough to show it at the beginning of the workshop on the phone. At least 2 days before the workshop you will receive an informative e-mail about the workshop, including the meeting place for the theoretical introduction. It is important that you leave us the correct contact details so that we can provide you with all these details.

ABOUT WORKSHOPS

From September 2021 most of our workshops last 2 days, the feedback provided by the coordinator to the participants is usually on the 2nd day.

Each workshop has the same structure: Theoretical Introduction, Practice and Feedback from the coordinator for a selection of images made by the participant in the workshop. Each workshop is coordinated by a professional photographer. The photographic practice lasts on average 8 hours with a lunch break.

Lunch is not included in the price. With the exception of the urban landscape workshop / rooftops coordinated by Cornel Lazia, transport is not included in the price. 

For the feedback session, for logistical reasons to facilitate an efficient feedback session, you will transfer to andreea@ws.ro a selection of photos taken by you during the workshop. These photos will be used only for feedback, subsequently they will be deleted from the memory of our computer and will not be used by us for promotion.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY INFORMATION 

We reserve the right to change the dates of the workshops or the hours of the event without prior notice if this is required for objective reasons. If we cancel the workshop we will refund the full cost of the tickets or you will be able to schedule another workshop with a similar cost.

If you want to cancel your participation in one of our workshops, please send us an e-mail to andreea@ws.ro. For a full refund you must cancel at least 2 weeks (14 calendar days) before the event starts. For a 50% refund you must cancel no later than one week (7 calendar days) before the event starts. If you cancel during the week of the event, your refund is no longer eligible. However, you can request rescheduling for another event at a cost at least equal to the canceled one.

INFORMATION ABOUT WORKSHOP PARTICIPATION

We photographically document each workshop. The photos taken are used exclusively for communication and promotion of Walk & Shoot. If you do not want to be photographed, please tell us at the beginning of the workshop. The same goes for video recordings, when applicable.  

​

For the show photography workshops coordinated by Adi Bulboacă, the portrait in natural light coordinated by Cristian Crisbășan and the studio coordinated by Ionuț Staicu, in order to use in the future the images made during the workshop, the participants:

1. They have the right to use the photographs taken in the workshop for the purpose of personal promotion as a photographer, including in their own portfolio, as long as they do not harm the reputation or dignity of the persons photographed.

2. For any other form of use of the photographs (ie: use in an exhibition, sale or donation to a third party of the right of use, commercial use) you must contact your Walk & Shoot representative in advance to begin the process of obtaining with the consent of those photographed.  

 

Rules for a good conduct of the workshops:

  • in the e-mail we send before the start of the workshop we leave you a contact telephone number; please save it and call us if you are late for the workshop;

  • please have a respectful attitude towards the Walk & Shoot team, the photo subjects (when applicable) and the other participants;

  • we reserve the right not to accept participants while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs;

  • we reserve the right to exclude from the workshop any participant who makes discriminatory remarks towards those present or behaves aggressively;

  • please come prepared for the workshop, with the necessary equipment (camera, lenses, batteries, memory card / s, etc.). We also accept people who want to take pictures with their mobile phone;

  • please consider the recommendations in the e-mail we send before the start of each workshop regarding comfortable footwear or casual wear in the case of workshops where we walk a lot.

We send newsletters and informative e-mails on an irregular basis. You can subscribe to our communications by filling out the form at the bottom of the page. If you no longer wish to receive communications from us, press the unsubscribe button in the email you received.
